This is a birthday card I made for the little girl next door, as you can see her name is Leyla, so she rarely gets anything with her name on it. I love making name cards for kids, they are always so chuffed to receive them!

This was made using Make the Cut software and cut on my Cricut Expression.

So, I'm right into my digi scrapping/crafting now. Its so much easier with a lively 2 year old to grab time on the laptop while he is busy with something and I can move around the house with him!

This is the layout I've done for Jaine's digi CJ, which is favourite locations.

The kit was from Sahlin Studio at The Daily Digi, which I now subscribe to as its such a great deal!!

Paper & Ribbons - 52 card challenge

Well, I've been so busy with various family stuff that I haven't uploaded any of my recent cards (I seem to be into my cardmaking again at the moment).

This card is for week 5 of the Paper & Ribbons challenge - I know I'm a little behind!

I must admit to being a little worried about "orange" and "patterned paper", but found an old Sarah's Cards kit and this came together quite quickly in the end. The final ingredient was "with love".

Back soon with a valentine card and also a digi card creation.

DSA digi layout

Well, its been a few days since I blogged, but I have a great reason for being absent, my poor husband has had an operation on Monday, so I've been taking care of him and trying to keep him comfortable.

As I've not had much crafting time I thought I'd just share a digi layout I did a while ago, when I first got the trial of Digital Scrapbook Artist.

This was a fairly quick one using just the free kit that came with the trial software, not bad for an early attempt I think! :o)

Well, after buying Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 before Christmas, I thought it was high time I did a digital layout.

On UKScrappers, they are giving members a free digi gift each week and one of them was a great digi kit by Dawn. I love turquoise/aqua/duck egg/teal, so wanted to use this kit straight away.

George looks so cheeky and grown up in this photo.

A Crafty Kind of Truffle - Tag Challenge

Well, I've been busy crafting, just forgetting to blog my creations. Must get into the habit. :)

I fancied doing something a little different, but not too time consuming, so thought I'd join Helen's challenge to create a tag each month.

January's theme is Valentines.

I was very pleased with how this tag turned out as I already had the bits on my desk. The tag was cut on my Cricut, embossed on the Cuttlebug and then inked with Distress Inks (which I've not long discovered and desperately need more colours).

Squiggle stamps digi

Just wanted to share a recent card I made. I love the Squiggle stamps and finally got a Miss Evie image to play with. Yes its another easel card, but I still really like them.

I'm sure you can't see in the photo, but I used a lot of Perfect Pearls on this so there's plenty of shimmer. The papers are Papermania.

6 x 12 Layouts

Hmmm, am trying to do a scheduled post for tomorrow (Thursday 9th Sept), I hope it works!

Just sharing a couple of 6 x 12 layouts I did recently, using PageMaps sketches. I love this size for quick layouts.

The first is another cute pic after Harry was born, that should have been scrapped ages ago. I'm thinking this layout is a little bare/uninspired??? Any comments/suggestions?

Yep, the second is a pink layout (so NOT me!). Was nice to use pink for a change and Lucy loves pink.

UKS weekly challenge

Hello, just wanted to share a layout I did for the weekly challenge a couple of weeks ago on UKScrappers. We had to scrap something new (Harry at 3 days old), use old stash (the paper and chipboard) and finally circles (my paper).

I love this picture of Harry that Daren took and should have scrapped it much sooner! I have so many lovely pics of both my boys that need layouts made. Oh for more crafting time. :o)

Quick Thank You card

Well, we're back from a rather wet week in Norfolk in our caravan, which was such a shame. We did squeeze in a visit to Norwich Castle and a couple of other local spots.

I managed to fit some craft kit in, but only got round to making one layout in the end, which I'll share soon.

Before I went away and when Dad was ill, I made him a Thank You card to give to the nurses who had cared for him so well.

It was just a quick one using the Cricut, but Dad seemed pleased with it. :o)

Squiggle stamps - July challenge

I know its a bit of a shock, but I've actually managed to submit my entry for the Squiggle Stamps July challenge in time!!!

The challenge was to use swirls, stitching and scallops.

I picked the Brolley Girl image as its been raining all night and morning here, not good when your husband is trying to put a fence up?!

The papers are from the July Sarahs Cards kit.

Hello, not been around for the last few weeks as my Dad has been really poorly, so lots of hospital visits. I have been creating when I can, but no time to upload, so here are 2 cards I made for challenges and didn't get round to entering them in time.

The first was for Friday sketchers, using my July Scrapagogo greetings kit which I love.

The second was made using last weeks "2 Sketches 4 You" sketch and my July Sarah's Cards kit.

Club Anya - monthly sketch 25

I fancied doing something a little creative today so decided to join in the sketch challenge at Club Anya. I didn't have much time, so quite a quick/basic card (and not a great picture).

I've had this stamp a week or two and finally got round to inking it up. The embossing was done on the Cuttlebug using a Fiskars embossing plate.

I can't share her card, as she hasn't seen it yet, plus I photographed it on my little camera and now can't find the lead (which is a bit annoying as I have nearly 200 pictures on there). Oh well, I'm sure it will turn up soon. Perhaps if I tidied the craft room/office????

Busy, busy, busy...

Hmm, life seems so busy now I have 2 little boys to run around after. Although I get some time to craft, I seem to struggle to find time to upload my creations to my blog, something I'd really like to remedy.

Hear are a couple of recent LOs, the first is made us left overs from class kits at the Sarah's cards retreat, plus a few extra purchased bits. :o)

This LO is made using the November Scrapaholix kit, I must confess I'm not mad about the colours/papers, but they really reminded me of the background wallpaper which I remember really well!

Finally, a picture of me and two of my lovely friends who I saw at the recent Sarah's Cards retreat, Tracy and Gwyneth. Was so lovely to see them/meet Gwyneth. I wish they were closer so we could meet regularly.

Well its a lovely sunny day here, so off to do some more washing.....

Last weekend was great, I went on the first Sarah's Cards scrapbooking retreat in Manchester. I met some great people, made new friends and did some lovely LOs and a mini book. A bit thanks to Sarah, Lianne and their talented Design Team for a great time. Looking forward to next year already. :oD

I missed my boys and I'm told George missed me the most, but we had a good day Monday when Harry was 1. Where has that year gone??!!

I have lots of pics to share, but not downloaded yet so watch this space!

New Forum/Digi Scrap Shop

Well, as if I don't have enough crafting additions, I have now started dabbling with digital scrapping. I got this bargain digi kit from www.fairytalescraps.com. They have also set up a new forum, so pop over and have a look.

So I decided to start small with this kit and made a hybrid card for my son's friend. I cut out the space ship, "Harrison" tag and speech bubble separately and UTEE'd them, then stuck them on with 3D tape. I also heat embossed a silver wavy line down the left side.

I was really pleased with how this turned out and as I have it saved on the PC, I can just make another quick boys card if I need one in a hurry.

Chatty Girl - Squiggle Stamps competition

Well, nothing like leaving it till the last minute!

Here is my entry for the February competition on the Squiggle Stamps blog, using the Chatty Girl digistamp. You had to use pink and hearts.

I cut the circle card using my new Make the Cut software, via my Cricut. I love this package! The hearts were just from the dingbats font on my pc. (email me if you want the cut file)

The paper is Collage Press and I got to use my new loopy Martha Stewart punch. It seemed appropriate for the card as it reminded me of the old telephone cables. :o)

The font is called Twighlight (I love the film/books).

Recent creations

So, am still trying to catch up with posting all my recent creations. Its been nice to be so productive lately.

This is a LO I did in December of George and his friend Sarah, with 2 other friends Erin and Sam, they have so much fun together. When I opened the Scrapagogo kit, with the monster papers, I knew this was definitely the first pic I was going to scrap.

The next is of my poorly little baby Harry. He's got tonsilitis at the moment and isn't his usual happy self at all. No fun when you're teething too. :o(

We had a photo shoot just before xmas and I couldn't get him to smile at all. Then our cat came in and he was all smiles for her, but everytime I tried to capture it she got in the way. So I settled for these shots instead!

Well, I didn't manage to keep up the regular posts did I? I have been creating and taking pics, but we had lots of snow here and I've spent a lot of time trying to keep George amused. Luckily its almost gone now and we can actually get out of the house!

Just thought I'd show you a few recent cards. The first is for George's friend Frankie (who is a girl).

The second is a card made with a CB embossing folder that I'd bought and not used, I do this all too often.

The last is a birthday card for my friend Anita.

"52 in 10" and Resolutions

Hello, is there anyone there? Well, just in case someone is reading this I'll carry on. :o)

This year I'm going to try and do something creative every day as it seems to really lift my spirit amongst all the daily grind. So far so good, I seem to have jumped in with both feet. I've made a couple of LOs (my first 6x12), a few cards, a wall hanging for my friend's birthday and a name banner for the same friends daughter. When I've taken pictures I'll share.

My other resolution is to get fitter and eat better. Not lose weight and join the gym as I've never managed to achieve that one before! So, I'll be getting out the Wii fit and trying to walk a bit more often. And I'm even going to try and eat less chocolate (when the xmas stuff is gone). Wish me luck, I'll need it.

I've decided to join Karen (who is ScrapDolly on UKS) with her challenge this year, I'm really hoping I can keep up with the prompts. Go and have a look on Karen's blog here.

Hope you all had a fab Christmas and got lots of nice pressies.

Well I can't believe its nearly 2010 already, where has the last year gone?

Not been a very good blogger and although I've remembered to take pics of most of my creations I haven't put them on the pc yet, will have to do a catch up post soon. Perhaps my new years resolution should be to blog at least twice a week???

So, I do have a yummy picture of my boys taken just before xmas, I was trying to get a good shot of them both, but they couldn't take their eyes off the tv and ironically this turned out to be the best shot. :o)

Well, we've finally exchanged contracts on our new house at last - phew! We move 28th October so have nearly 3 weeks to pack now - the best bit, not.

This was for George starting school

This was my anniversary card to Daren, I just love that little Fancy Pants turtle. :)

This was for my inlaws, who've been married 51 years!!!! The birds are the Lovey Dovey stamp from Squiggle Stamps.

World Card Making Day

Over on UKScrappers, we've been celebrating WCMD with some challenges.

A challenge to make a rudolph card. The only rudolph I could think of was the one on my Doodlecharms cricut cart. Unfortunately, I took these pics on my small digital camera so not great quality. He actually has gem eyes, a shiny nose and there is glitter on the background snowflakes.

The next was a great challenge, to make a haunted house. Its really cute and George even "helped". Its now on our sideboard waiting for halloween, which will actually be in the new house.

Again, my terrible pictures don't really do it justice, we had a love time using the Cuttlebug (which is George's favourite). Since the picture, we've even had visitors at the house from a lego policeman and fireman as its just the right size!!! LOL
There is also a monster inside, who was stamped on shrink plastic (and coloured by G).

A big thank you to everyone who arranged the challenges on UKS, they were great fun.
I'll share another 3 cards tomorrow.

So I thought I'd just share a few more recent creations with you - have a bit of a catch up. :o)

This is a LO of me and the lovely (and very talented) Tracy, who I had the pleasure of finally meeting in July. She lives quite close to Center Parcs where we were on hols. It was so nice to meet Tracy in person after chatting for so long online (we met through UKScrappers about 18 months ago). Using a ScrapaGogo kit.

I made this card for my poor hubby, Daren, who had swine flu at the beginning of the summer holidays. Papers from a Sarah's Cards cardmaking kit.

These two cards were made using a stamp I haven't used in a while, isn't that panda so cute? The papers etc. come from a Sarah's Cards cardmaking kit again.

Apologies for the colours on the pics, they don't seem to have come out very well?

Oh dear, is it really that long? I have been rather busy with my boys (especially Harry) and now its the summer holidays.

We are also looking for a new house so busy, busy, busy! I've done some creating, but not much as I've had to pack away a lot of my craft stuff for the sale/move. Am hoping our new house will have room for a proper craft room. :-D

Well, its taken me a while to post as I've been quite busy!
Harrison James Gardiner arrived on Sunday 8th March at 9.31pm and boy was it hard work!!! But soooooo worth it as he's delicious. :D

Just wanted to share some pictures with everyone, as Harry is now 10 days old and am getting harrassed by people! You forget how quickly the day goes with a new born.

Can I also just say a big thank you to everyone who sent a card, especially all my lovely UKS friends, many of their cards were handmade. xx

A canvas and a mini book

Well, I'm not doing too bad keeping up the blogging again, am I? Lets see how long it lasts!! LOL

Our baby is due today, but no sign yet. Poor George is fed up with waiting and has stopped asking "will he arrive today?".

At the weekend I finally made a canvas for Daren's office wall (he's been asking for it since the summer). Its of George's Austin J40 pedal car that Daren restored for him and which he is sooooo proud of.

The canvas is bevel edged and measures 16x16 inches (and was a bargain £4 from The Range). I'm so glad I've finally got round to doing this, just got to finish the album with Ruby's story now. :-)

The die cut paper is MM, letters are Thickers. Red velvet paper (under Ruby) was cut on the cricut. Prima crystal swirls and acrylic paint.

This is a mini book I made for Daren (it was supposed to be a Valentine's present, better late than never!). We went to Dublin last September for our 10th wedding anniversary and I didn't want to leave the pictures sitting on the PC too long, otherwise I knew I'd forget all the details.
This was made using mostly my February Scrapagogo kit. The book was a 7gypsies one I'd had for ages. I cut the envelope page on my cricut and added a few other little bits n pieces.

Ok, I'm hoping to add a slide show for this, so bear with me as I've not done it before!!!

40th birthday card

I can finally share with you the card I made for my best friend Lisa, as she has now received it! Sorry Lisa, you knew it would be late didn't you?! LOL x

I was really pleased with how this card turned out as I'd been thinking about it for so long. It ended up far simpler than I imagined. I used MM patterned paper, Bazzill cream flower, Doodlebug black sparkly flower, MM sparkly numbers, Martha Stewart doily lace punch and the sparkly black swirl (under the flowers) was cut on my Cricut using the Home Accents cart.

Dancing to Frank and Brotherly Love

Just thought I'd share a couple of LOs I did at the weekend.

This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago and thought it was very sweet and just needed recording. (not particularly flattering one of me and my bump though! LOL)

These pictures were taken on Saturday when Daren was listening to Frank Sinatra, George just loved it and was dancing all over the place! He is a truly "unusual" dancer LOL, but I can never seem to catch what he's really like in a picture. :)

This one if for a friend of a friend, she asked me to make it as Farryl is such an unusual name. All shapes/letters cut on the Cricut.

UKS Cyber Crop Layouts

Thought I'd be good and share a couple more recent layouts with you. A few weekends ago there was a cyber crop on UKScrappers and I managed to complete 2 of the classes - which were fantastic!

The first LO uses all Basic Grey Offbeat papers, the brown frame, title and scallop circle were all cut using my lovely Cricut.

The second was various bits and pieces from my stash, paper was Basic Grey as are the swirl stamps. Making Memories journalling paper, prima flower, doodlebug loupy lou letters and swirl cut on my Cricut again. I really enjoyed this one, I'm not a messy crafter and it was quite liberating using th paint! A technique I'll definitely be using again, as this wasn't that messy. :)

How long???!!!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I haven't posted since 2nd December?! Is it worth trying to fill you in?

Well, the Scrap Your Christmas didn't go as well as planned as I caught that horrible virus that was going round and felt awful for weeks and weeks, the cough stayed forever. Didn't help that you can't take anything when expecting.

Have been scrapping again, but not so hot on the card making, so will share some LOs with you - I promise!

We had the snow for quite a few days and the slush for many more. Got some photos of the boys playing in the garden, but not scrapped them yet. George has requested a whole album, which might take a while! LOL

I've signed up for yummy Scrapagogo kits and just received my second one, how much easier is it to scrap with a kit? Everything is already co-ordinated for you and you don't spend ages searching through your papers/embellies. Can't believe I've survived this long without kits. :D

I'm 38 weeks pregnant today and can't wait for our new little fella to arrive. Am sooooo fed up with being pregnant now. Have had a bit of backache the last couple of days (and other symptoms you don't want to share on a blog!) so fingers crossed something will happen soon.

I'm so pleased I've managed to completed my second journal LO today, unfortunately its a bit dark to take a picture now, but I'll upload it in the morning.

Todays prompt was winter weather, we didn't have snow here like lots of other people, so I took a picture in our back garden. It was lovely and sunny this morning.

I also took a picture of George opening his advent calendar this morning. It must be nice to be a child and be so joyful over such a small chocolate! :-)

Today we made fairy cakes, they were just basic sponge ones with mini chocolate buttons in them but George had a great time mixing and eating them! Unfortunately, even though it was a big batch, we don't have many left! (we didn't eat them all ourselves :D)

I also completed the first page of my christmas journal and I am really pleased with how it turned out.

I loved this santa sticker as soon as I saw him and couldn't wait to use him, so put him on my first page. I'm not sure you can see but his beard and cuffs are flocked.

The paper and embellishments are K&Co Peppermint Twist.

Finally, a quick mention for my friend Sian, who had her son Louie today, congratulations to the Howell family! xx

Skating Tilda & Journal Your Christmas

Well, I know its rather quick for me to be blogging again, but I just wanted to share the card I made for my husband's great niece. I so enjoyed making a girly card and decided to go all colourful for this one. The papers are Saffaras Lass, Catslife Press Stamp, Doodlebug paper frill, and circle embossed on the Cuttlebug. Tilda was coloured using my pro markers. I also decided to use some of my new pom pom trim, which I've been desperate to use.

So, December tomorrow and that means time for me to start my first Shimelle class, Journal Your Christmas. This also means that I need to try and finish decorating my album today, I hope I manage to get it done!

A couple of cards

Yes, I'm still around just not a very good/regular blogger!

Just a couple of quick cards to share with you, the first is my Dad's birthday card, a Penny Black stamp coloured with my fab pro markers and BG papers. Also the fiskars threading water punch which seems to be on most projects at the moment!

Second is for a friend who went into hospital this week for an op, hope she's on the mend now.

I have done a couple of layouts too recently, but not got round to getting a picture yet, its so dark and dingy a lot of the time now.

I've made a couple of quick cards over the past few days. The first being an anniversary card for our friends Fiona and Phil who celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss on halloween.I used my trusty Cuttlebug and Cricut (pumpkins from Doodlecharms) for this.

Also, a quick birthday card for George's friend Matthew who is 4 today. This card let me play with the new Wild Card Cricut cartridge. :) Sorry about the dark background, but it was very early on Sunday when I took this picture!

Finally, a big CONGRATULATIONS to my crafy friend Tracy, who has won another competition over at BBTB. She definitely deserves it! Enjoy your prize Tracy. xx

Halloween and George's party

I hope you all had a Happy Halloween? George had great fun carving pumpkins with his Dad again and then spent 2 hours waiting by the door for Trick or Treaters. Unfortunately, we only had about 5 come round, but he seemed to be happy with that. :)We also had George's 4th birthday yesterday, so about 18 children all crafting in a hall. Lots of paint, glue and sparkles! But Mummy is not silly and paid someone to come and do it all this year, including the tidying up! The children all had a great time.

Well, I have been doing some crafting recently, but just not been a good blogger and posted pictures. So I'm here today to remedy that.

Firstly, the LO I've just completed for my teams challenge on UKScrappers.

This is a small book I've make on my BIA to jot down card sketches when I see one I like. I'm always hunting for a sketch when I have a card to make and thought this might make life a bit easier.

Oh dear, its been a long time since I posted again, what a bad blogger I am! Although I do have a very good excuse, I'm now 15 weeks pregnant and have been suffering terribly from the beginning. I am starting to feel a bit better, so please all cross your fingers for me. :)

Here is a scan picture, which was taken about 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the picture isn't very good, but the scan itself was very clear.

I have made a few cards recently and will try to post more regularly as I start to feel better.

Well, what a lovely day here in sunny Crowborough, lets hope the weather lasts for the BH weekend. :)

I've actually done a bit of card making in the last week or so, so have a few creations to share with you. Unfortunately, they are quick cards as I'm a bit out of practice at the moment. I'll apologise now for my poor attempts at photographing acetate cards again!

A quick card for my cat mad SIL (who was arriving in an hour - eek!). Using a Lili of the Valley die cut, which I found in a drawer!

This was an order for a friend. The cross was cut on the Cricut using the Wedding cartridge, the "godson" is from the All Mixed Up cartridge.

An order from another friend. Hearts, top hat, tiara and banner cut on the Wedding cartridge again. The sides of the card are embossed using one of the new border embossing folders. There are pearls on the flowers.

A quick card for my friends' hubby. I was struggling (as usual) for a man's card. Papers are BG archaic, retro square shape cut with the Indie Art cricut cartridge and embossed on the Cuttlebug.

Well, we've been to our caravan for a 10 day break and this week I've been feeling a bit poorly, so not much to report really. The weather wasn't great on holiday, so no beach trips, but we did get to see Kung Fu Panda!

No pictures of any creations to share, but thought I'd show you a pic we took on holiday. I know its really blurry but I really like it. :)

Its so rare to get a picture of us together, so we took this ourselves on Daren's birthday (which is why its so bad!).

This LO is for the weekly challenge over at the Scrummy Stash Cafe. The challenge was to hide your messages/journalling, which I do quite often anyway to hide my writing!

Now I'll apologise for probably my worst picture of a LO yet!!! But as you can see, its quite late and no daylight (thank goodness for crafters daylight lamps!).

Supplies used: June Scrummy Stash Cafe kit, white acrylic paint, Papermania gems, Sue Dreamer "love" charm, "together" cut on the Cricut (Alphalicious), hidden tag cut on the Cricut (Accent Essentials), brown ink pad and Hero Arts alphabet stamps.

I've been busy early today making a card for my SIL whose birthday is tomorrow! (nothing like leaving it to the last minute). So considering this was a last minute make I am really pleased with how it came out.

It was quicker to do as I based it on yesterdays cupcake card, but this one has mirri card, bling and acetate - so hard to photograph!

Supplies used: Bazzill bling card base cut on Doodlecharms (cricut), acetate embossed with new CB folders, Shopabellas stamp coloured with Prismacolors, white and mirri circles cut on Mini Monos (cricut), Ribbon from Little Silver Hat bundle, Papermania gems and white souffle pen (faux stitching).

Just wanted to share this card with you too, it was made for my team leader on UKScrappers.

Supplies used: Cricut (Zooballo for house and Mini Monos for orange square), embossing on the cuttlebug (new "with love" and hearts folders), paper rik rak (bazzill Just the edge), pearls from a QVC kit and brown chalk eye for inking orange square. Papers are from the Scrummy Stash Cafe May kit - Sassafras Lass.

Sorry for the bad pic, the colours are a bit to garish, much nicer IRL!

Cupcake card - Friends Always

So I've been busy card making, made 2 birthday cards for George's teachers, but forgot to take a picture of them! They both had Magnolia images on them coloured with Prismacolors. Never mind!

Today I've made a card for one of my best friends, who will be 36 on Friday! You know who you are!!! ;)

I know she'll like it because it has food on it!!!

Supplies used: Card, leaves and cupcake cut on the cricut - Doodlecharms. Acetate embossed with the new hearts CB folder, "with love" also a new CB folder. Striped paper is DCWV Floral Prints stack. Flowers and gems are Papermania, ribbon is Doodlebug. Stamped stitching is HOTP. The greeting is a Woodware stamp from a set. Cream Papermania card and Black Bazzill Bling. Pink and charcoal ink pads.

Girls birthday card

Just a quick post to show you a birthday card I made for my friend's little girl.

This card was a disaster, but I think I managed to salvage it in the end! I couldn't get the shapes to weld and cut properly, then my main picture went wrong (Cinderella to be cut on the cricut), so in the end I used a stamped image and improvised! The colouring isn't great as this was done a while ago (pre Prismas!).

Hearts cut from Doodlecharms, scallop circles from Mini Monos and "Katie"/3 from All Mixed Up. Embossing on the CB. Stamp is a Francoise Read/Woodware one.

Not an actioned packed weekend this week, but we did manage some sorting out on Saturday and I even reorganised my craft area. After I found my desk, I did 2 LOs!

Papers are from Doodlebug (Nautica and Polo), as is the red heart button. Scallop is Bazzill Just the Edge (which I am addicted to!), stamp is Rhonna Farrer (by Autumn Leaves), Stamps Away journalling stamp.

Paper is Collage Press (Grayson Hall), Black paper ric rac is Bazzill Just the Edge (again!), Tag - all from April Scrummy Stash Cafe kit. Scallop corner and "g" cut on Cricut (Plantin Schoolbook). Words are from the "Friends" Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Here is a LO of Daren, which I completed at my recent Scrapaholix crop. This is a rare great picture of Daren! He is really relaxed as we were at our caravan and he was watching George ride his bike. It also helped that he thought I was taking pictures of George!Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey Boxer papers.

Teacher and New Home cards

Well I had a busy day yesterday, had lunch with my Mum and then visited my Dad, followed by a PTA "meeting" (in the pub!) - so no crafting time for me.

Just thought I'd show you a couple of cards I made earlier in the week. The first one is for George's favourite teacher who had her birthday this week. Made on the Cricut using Doodlecharms and Paperdolls, the greeting is HOTP.

The second is for a UKS friend who moved last week. :) The house was cut on Zooballoo using the Cricut, also used Bazzill Just the Edge rik rak and my new embossing folders on the Cuttlebug. :) The gorgeous papers are from the May kit at the Scrummy Stash Cafe. The colours are not quite so garish IRL! I need to work out how to get a picture showing the true colour. Any tips greatfully received.

3. Housework.... :(
4. Go to the bank.
5. Take George to the park after nursery.

Snacks I enjoy: Chocolate, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake.....can you see a pattern developing?!! LOL

Things I would do if I was a millionaire: Give money to my family/friends to make their lives easier. Buy my Dad a car and make him use it. Buy my sister a flat. Take Daren and George to Disneyland.

Places I have lived: Not very exciting I'm afraid.....Northfleet, Gravesend, Greenhithe (all in Kent) and now Crowborough in East Sussex (4 years next week).

Now I will tag Lin, Maria, Samm and SJ. As I'm new to this blogging lark I don't think I can manage 7 just yet!!

Hello all, well Tracy (Tracy Gough - UKS) has gone and bullied me into starting a blog, so I'll apologise now for all the ramblings!!

I've just finished (very late last night) a card for the Bitten By The Bug challenge, it was to use the elephant cut on the Zooballoo cricut cartridge. I really loved this little fella, or should I say lady (as she's pink!), will definitely be using him/her again. :) The "hug" is also Zooballoo, grass cut from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.

The paper is Basic Grey Phoebe, Bazzil Bling CS, Bazzill Just the Edge and gems.

Sorry about the bad pic, its looks a bit pale and out of focus!
